It, as usual, has been a long boring day. We have been walking ever sense we left the store! I haven't even gotten a chance to rest. "I'm tired!"I would complain. "I'm hungry!" Hailey would complain. Carter would sigh every now and then like she was complaining that we were being so whiny.I couldn't blame her. I wouldn't like to be around anybody as whiny as us. Finally Carter said we could rest and eat some of the little food we had left from our aunt Alice's house. Hailey and I were sitting on the outside of the group and I looked inside the circle to see what all the laughing was about for 1 second. I heard a rustling in the bushes but I didn't really care. I sat back down and started to eat. I noticed that Hailey was gone. Then, before I could scream, I was hit in the head and swept away into the bushes...
