So it is a Small World After All...- Love, ALex

Carter lay unconscious on the floor. The man in black came walking towards me. He eyed me like I was his next dinner. This didn't make me feel too secure. And then it all happened; before I knew it, he grabbed me. Without even thinking, I smacked him hard, right across the face. Now, I may not be the toughest girl on the block, but that looked like it hurt! He fell back clutching his face.
"C'Mon!" I yelled out to my sisters. Rikki flung limp Carter over her shoulders and we ran out to the nearest door. How do we know which way to go?! I thought. There's got to be a million doors around here! And then I saw it- a door that might be an exit! Well, I didn't find it, but Kailee pointed it out to me: A big, black door at the end at a deserted hall. Right in the middle was a large, tiny lightning bolt, flashing at us like some kind of sign. We stealthily crept along the wall and circled around the door. Bailey reached out and turned the handle; it was locked! I pushed her aside and tried it myself, but there was still no movement in the handle. Kailey looked away, ashamed of getting our hopes up. But then expression changed: Rikki had opened the door! We all smiled and could have shouted with joy. We stepped through the mysterious door, anxious to find out what our adventure would bring us next. We tip-toed along the bright, yellow corridors and found ourselves facing another door. Instead of it being black with a lightning bolt, it was a magenta door with a lily planted in the middle. We repeated our last door-opening routine, all taking turns attempting to open the door. Finally, Bailey opened it and we stepped in to find ourselves in a magenta passageway. After we passed through our third door (blue with a bright pink brain imprinted on it, opened by Hailey), I realized something: we all had our bracelets on, the ones we each received as we turned nine, from Mom and Dad. Carter's had a golden staff charm, Rikki's had a lightning charm, I had a lime green music note charm, Bailey had a silver lily as a charm, Hailey had a small, pink brain, and Kailey's bracelet was complete with small, pink heart enclosed in a big red heart as a charm. Each door was opened by the owner with the charm matching the imprint upon the door. We continued to hurry along the colorful corridors enclosed behind each door (Luckily, Carter had woken up and had enough strength to open her door, the last one) and once we had completed our little maze, we found ourself outside in the fresh air. But where were we?
"Guys..." Hailey said as she gulped.
"I don't think we're in America anymore..."
We all looked up. Up on a shiny, metallic flag pole was a red flag with little yellow stars up in the corner. In shock, I finally realized something...

My sisters and I really weren't in America anymore. Oh-no. My sisters and I had just found ourselves in
China.

Let the adventures begin!

  1. WE are both similar in a way. Your parents abducted, my dad dead and my mom wacko. We should communicate.
