"This way, please." Explained Blake.
"Where are we going?" Asked Carter.
"It's a surprise. You'll see"
I had no idea where we were heading to. Blake just kept leading us through the streets and the neighborhoods.
"So.... um....how do you know this place so well?" I asked. "Seriously, you look like you built every inch of this city"
"I was born and raised here." Reply's Blake. I don't know how he could keep his focus on Carter and I, and at the same time which direction he was going.
After a few more blocks, Blake finally led us to what looked liked a hodge-podge of bushes, but after he led us through, all we saw was the.... the.... Whatever it is, it's a it's a big white house- take that back, a big, BIG white house. It has a very big, spread out lawn, with a beautiful fountain in the middle of it.
I looked over at Carter, and she looked like she wasn't able to breath. Her mouth was wide open, speechless.
"What." I said. "I don't see anything special about-" Suddenly Carter slapped me in the arm as hard as she could. "What?" I asked.
"Don't you get it Hailee?! That is the white house."
"Well I know it's white. But it's just-" I stopped. "Is that the white house?"
"YES!" Carter yelled.
I about fainted. I couldn't believe I was here. The white house.
"But- but- you could get arrested for just- breaking in!" I yelled.
"I already told you." Blake explained. "My dad has access to this place."
"Ohhhhhh. That explains a lot." Says carter.
"Let's move along. Shall we?" Blake led us all through the white house, not leaving out a single detail.
This place was huge. It's even more than I can explain. It was beautiful. The last part of the tour, the big room. I wonder why they call all of these things such weird names. Like white house. Big room. Green tea. The big room was so big, you could imagine a giant vacuum just sucking up all of DC, spitting it out in this very room, and everybody would still fit.
All of the sudden, these security people just busted through the door, with a girl all tied up in rags, saying, "This girl is accused of stealing diamonds!" there was a dead silence. "She must go to the minor court."
I couldn't find out who the girl was, she was so beaten up and really looked tired. Man, I thought. She looks familiar. It was all coming to me, like tini pieces of a puzzle. Then, it all hit me like a punch in the face. I knew who this person was. It was Rikki. My very own sister. Rikki.
