A Bear Story-Love, Alex

Well, you probably want details on the bear.
And if you don't, well, too bad because I'm posting this anyways.

Everything was great up until we hit Trembleton Forest. I swear, this place is HAUNTED. As kids, we used to dare each other  to walk through the forest at midnight. Of course nobody did. Nobody but that one kid Neddy, and all we know is that it did not go well.

Anyways, just as we hit the treeline, a bear came rompin' out of nowhere about 50 feet ahead of us. You may be thinking "whatevs, it's far, it's not like it's gonna attack 'em or anything". Wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. The second it saw us, it noticed my cinnamon roll in my hand (hey, I can't go and save my parent's on an empty stomach!), it charged. Carter pulled out her pepper spray and sent it rolling, right towards me! I would've been dead by now, if it wasn't for Rikki. She jumped out and tackled that great big grizzly! After a few true warrior moments, she was sent rolling down the hill. Kailee went racing after her, and my dear sister, my dear 13 year old sister, Bailey, tackled the bear for me, 'cause I was too scared to pick my self up and fight him myself. She did great, and held him down as Carter sprayed him in the eye and he was thrown down the hill. We soon made it to the pond in the center of the forest, and we cleaned up. Great, we've just started our little journey and I'm already wearing my second pair of clothes. It just shows how indifferent my sisters and I are, because Rikki, if she was in this kind of situation, would have bucked up and just throw on a different shirt, but I, on the other hand am wearing a totally different outfit! I sometimes drive myself crazy. I think I'll change right after this post...

We are now about 6 miles away from home, and it's been about 3 hours. We need better transportation!!!
I just can't wait until we get to town and we can get some kind ride... Wish us luck!!!
